
Practical information
Travel
The easiest way to reach Lisbon is by plane. Humberto Delgado Airport is approximately 10 minutes from the conference venue by taxi and approximately 25 minutes by bus. The airport is also connected to the city centre by metro (red line: Aeroporto).
Accommodation
As Lisbon is a popular tourist destination, particularly during the summer, we recommend you book your accomodation early.
A wide range of accommodation options to suit various preferences and budgets is available around the city, such as hotels, hostels, apartments and guesthouses.

Public transportation
Lisbon is well connected through a wide network of public transportation which includes metro, buses, trains, trams and shared bicycles and scooters, as well as boats that connect both margins of the Tagus river. If you prefer, taxis and ridesharing services, such as Uber and Bolt, are also available.
Metro
The Lisbon Metropolitan's four lines cover the majority of the city centre, including the venue area, which is located near the Cidade Universitária metro station (yellow line). Trains run from 06:30am to 01:00am.

Buses and trams
Buses and trams in Lisbon are operated by Carris.
Bus routes cover the whole city and connect the city centre to the periphery, with some running through the night. Near the conference venue, there are multiple bus stops with many different routes.
Trams are only available in areas close to the city downtown and near the river, and they generally have a tighter operating schedule than buses.

There are two train operators in Lisbon: CP and Fertagus.
Most trains in Lisbon are used to connect the city centre to the periphery.
